Funding print media through digital networks

The Japan Times’ Edan Corkill wrote this piece on the work of Craig Mod. Mod has used his digital networks to get funding for a book he wants to publish on a second run.

Given the specialized nature of Mod’s book (it’s on art spaces in Tokyo), this unique method for getting funding will likely be an exception, rather than the rule.
